Autorenporträt
Allyssa is an immigrant who likes to write. Her topics include family connection and love. She has written this story of love by family, but a stranger at the same time. She gets her inspiration from people she sees or from certain food she eats. Eda Erhan is a Graphic Designer/Illustrator who is passionate about bringing stories and ideas to life. She has previously contributed to professional works for children's books and graphic design. She values kindness and humanity. www.linkedin.com/in/edaerhan Julia Druzhinina, children's writer and storyteller. My goal is to use the power of words to entertain, educate and make society better. As a child, I used to read a lot. In my stories I use my experience and imagination to paint on my canvas with words. Rachel Torres is passionate about children's literature, and she loves to use her free time to write stories. She lives in Vancouver with her husband and son, but her stories are based in Brazil where she was born. Shijing Xiao is originally from China. She enjoys writing stories as they represent life in an alternative universe. By imagining and writing, she feels she can resist a sense of emptiness. Tanya Kan: I am happy, moody sometimes, love to write and love to read. I can be everywhere and nowhere. I can be light, I can be dark. I can walk, I can run. In everything I am and do I get ideas for my stories. I am delighted when these stories resonate with people. Zoe Cao originally comes from Beijing, China. Peace and nice. She has been in Vancouver, Canada, for two years. She likes reading picture books and National Geographic books with her son. Isha Singh and Nathalia Pillibossian were guest contributors. They provided illustrations for the stories in this book.
