Curious cats make mischief under the moon--and help a new kitten friend--in a purr-fect holiday picture book. The neighborhood is brighter than usual one night when cat friends Carl, Biscuit, and Peewee meet up to have some fun. Their mission? Making mischief as only cats can! The neighborhood is brighter than usual one night when cat friends Carl, Biscuit, and Peewee meet up to have some fun. Their mission? Making mischief as only cats can! One goes high, one sneaks low, one gets covered in a big plop of snow . . . And now they're all sidetracked by a paw-print trail leading straight to a little thief's stash of trinkets, tinsel, and a stolen star that they know just where to bring. Batted-at ornaments ( crash!), twinkling lights, falling snow, caroling cats--but what's that new voice they hear coming out of a beautiful box? Can they help her find a home? With sprightly illustrations, good humor, and plenty of feline antics, Jordan Morris and Charlie Mylie spin a warm and funny tale full of Christmas magic.Hinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
Jordan Morris credits her numerous childhood journals with most of her best book ideas and finds additional inspiration while sitting on a swing. Before she began making her own picture books, she was part of the team of artists, including Merry Mittens illustrator Charlie Mylie, who helped create the Rabbit hOle, a museum dedicated to children's literature in Kansas City, Missouri. Jordan Morris lives with her husband, two daughters, and dog under the watchful green eyes of a mercurial black cat named Piranesi. Charlie Mylie makes words and pictures for children in a basement in Kansas City, Kansas. The author and illustrator of several books, he has worked with Merry Mittens author Jordan Morris on Out on a Limb as well as at the Rabbit hOle, an immersive children's literature museum. Charlie Mylie tries to learn from the playfulness of his son and the thoughtfulness of his wife, and from their cat he is reminded to just lie down in the sun every once in a while.
