Anna Claybourne is an award-winning science writer, and has written many books for Usborne Publishing, A&C Black and Franklin Watts. She writes mainly non-fiction, covering topics such as science, art, wildlife and fashion, but has also published books about Shakespeare, myths and legends and retellings of literary classics. She is based in Edinburgh. Shanarama is a writer and illustrator of children's books, with a background in film set design which has informed her storytelling abilities. Shanarama enjoys working in both traditional and digital methods, often blending the two elements together, as can be seen through her use of pencil and graphite, with digital coloring. In 2018 she was Runner-up in the Stratford Literary Festival Children's Book Competition. She lives in London.
