This leads to accidents at unmanned level crossings.Some new techniques are now required to cope up the situation and safe crossings. New techniques are required to measure the arrival of train well in advance so that warning and barrier actuation system can work better by enhancing the time gap between measurement and actuation of signal. This work is an effort towards developing this new concept by focusing on the measurement of rolling noise.
