Hence, a green approach for the synthesis of gold nanoparticles is the safest and most preferred route. In the present natural extracts were used as the reducing and stabilizing agents. These green synthesized Gold, silver, and copper nanoparticles were characterized by several techniques and used in delivery of anti-cancer drug, colorimetric detection of Mercury (II) ions, anti-bacterial activity and these AuNPs used as a catalyst for the reduction organic pollutants
