Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)is being a major nosocomial pathogen in human, not only in developed country but also in the developing country.The pattern of resistant is difficult to predict, so that it's being difficult in diagnosis and therapy. Nowadays, worldwide spread of the Vancomycin resistant MRSA is increasing rapidly. In this context, this publication about Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus with reference to the pediatric patients attending a tertiary care referral hospital Kanti Children s Hospital- located in Kathmandu, Nepal will provide the scenario of MRSA and antibiotic susceptibility pattern of this organism in Nepal.These findings will ultimately be beneficial to the general public, healthcare professionals to combat the future challenges for therapy and control of the infections due to this organism.
