The current changes in universities require training to enable teachers to improve their methodological preparation. Research work was carried out on the regulations of the teaching process; the results of teaching controls during three courses and a sample of 20 practical exams identifying the points made; a survey of students to find out their criteria about the quality of the classes and a review of the theoretical trends in methodological preparation. The strategy consists of: 1) methodological guide on education at work; 2) diploma course on teaching clinical propaedeutics and 3) preparation and application of practical examination observation guides. The results were favourably evaluated in a methodological workshop. The book is aimed at medical teachers in charge of clinical teaching and includes the application of didactic principles necessary for its optimisation.
