The present work entitled "Methodological Strategies for the Promotion of Environmental Education from a Transversal Perspective in Technical High School No. 78" aimed to effectively incorporate Environmental Education (EE) with a transversal axis, by which environmental problems of the school-community can be mitigated, as well as to develop knowledge, values, skills and competencies in young people to conserve their environment. A questionnaire was applied to each study group (teachers and students). The results obtained show the knowledge and concern about the environmental problems detected in the locality. Therefore, it is concluded that in order to carry out EA as a cross-cutting theme in the classroom, it will be achieved through the application of methodological strategies that are established in the teaching-learning process in the Secondary Education Reform, specifically in the management of the cross-cutting themes and teaching by projects.
