Mahamadou Sanda trabalhou primeiro para o Ministério da Agricultura, depois como supervisor na Faculdade de Agronomia da Universidade de Niamey. Foi também Diretor Departamental da Agricultura em Loga, e leccionou como professor a tempo parcial em 2 institutos em Maradi e na Universidade e Instituto Superior de Saúde em Diffa.
