This monograph proposes a methodology for calculating the basic parameters of roller mechanisms, which are part of the crank presses used in the pressure treatment of strip and tape materials. Using the recommended method, it is possible to reduce the consumption of processed material by increasing the periodic transmission accuracy of the roller mechanism used in production. In creating this monograph, a mathematical model of a roller mechanism driven by a crank press was developed and its equations were solved by a computer program. The results of the calculations, the constructions of a number of roller mechanisms were analyzed and the reliability of the methodology was tested experimentally. The use of this method is effective in increasing the efficiency of crank presses used in the pressure treatment of strip and tape materials.
