Trained in economics and urban sociology, Scott Baum currently teaches urban analysis and research methods and design at Griffith University, Queensland, Australia. He has published more than 100 scientific papers, book chapters and conference papers and has led or been involved in research projects worth AUD 13 million. His research has utilized a broad range of approaches including both quantitative and qualitative methods; in addition, he has offered research methods training and workshops both in Australia and overseas.
