This study explores the personal qualities, best practices and challenges commonly possessed and faced by those professionals adjudged as Metrobank Outstanding Teachers in Iloilo, Philippines. The idea about an exceptional teacher that is developed out of the gathered and analyzed data would be expected to provide simple cues and standards for other Filipino teachers who similarly dream of becoming one of them. Nevertheless, the portrayal of the characteristics and cases of the five select teachers does not intend to project a notion that only few are capable and are entitled to be exemplary in the teaching profession. The authors hoped that somehow this presentation of cases will inspire other teachers to strive more and prove that indeed teaching is the noblest profession.
