Paul L. Knox is a university distinguished professor and senior fellow for international advancement at Virginia Tech University. Between 1997 and 2006 he served as dean of the College of Architecture and Urban Studies. He is also a member of the Department of Urban Affairs and Planning and has written many books, including Urbanization: An Introduction to Urban Geography.
