Originally from Iowa, Michael Hauptman started taking photographs at a very young age when his grandparents gave him his first camera. After attending University of California, Hauptman moved to NYC in 2005. Hauptman's work has been featured in T Magazine, British Vogue, Dazed & Confused, i-D, and Purple. Hauptman currently lives between London and New York.
