Michael Mickelstick Saves The Day is a tale about a little boy who moves far away to a new school in a new town where he does not know anyone. Michael is shy, nervous, and worried that he will never fit in. .A school field trip gives Michael the opportunity to come out of his shell and start to find himself. I am grateful to all those who have helped me bring to life my first of what I hope to be many fun books. I am a first-time author but long time lover of books of all kinds. I am grateful to the many authors who have influenced me - to name a few - Mikhail Bulgakov, Dr. Seuss, Herve Tulles, Haruki Murakami, Mo Williams, Maurice Sendak, Margaret Wise Brown and Clement Hurd, Eric Carle and the fabulous Sandra Boynton. Please take no offense the countless amazing authors that I did not mention.
