The Michigan Daily is the student-run newspaper at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. Since 1890, the periodical has covered University of Michigan news, sports, and culture as well as its city of residence. It is based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Michael Rosenberg is a columnist for the Detroit Free Press, a frequent contributor to Sports Illustrated, and the author of War as They Knew It: Woody Hayes, Bo Schembechler, and America in a Time of Unrest. He is a former staff writer and editor in chief for the Michigan Daily, having covered Michigan football during the 1994 season. He lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Adam Schefter is an NFL insider for ESPN. He is a former staff writer and sports editor for the Michigan Daily, having covered Michigan football during the 1988 season. He lives in New York City.
