Hi all, I'm Miriam a retired educator. I recently joined Charles County MD Literacy Council which provides tutoring for adult persons. I began writing children's books in 2017. I joined SCBWI(Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators) and MWA(Maryland Writers Association) which have been instrumental in honing my writing skills. What has been intriguing are the conferences. The members have been friendly, knowledgeable, and supportive.
