The present research seeks to evaluate the socioeconomic impact that the microcredits granted in the agricultural sector by the Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Minga Ltda. have had in the Cajabamba agency during 2016. The impact that microcredit programs have caused within the socioeconomic scenario of a sector or region is undoubtedly a topic that invites research because knowing the growth opportunities that can promote access to financial resources to develop productive activities, could generate increased employment, improved income and, with all this, improve the quality of life of people. A study was carried out with both new and existing members, through pre-designed surveys that were applied to 94 members. Taking into consideration all of the above, a model has been proposed to effectively grant a microcredit in the Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Minga Ltda., in order to regulate and improve the current existing system for the execution of such procedures and guarantee the satisfaction of the members.
