Autorenporträt
Farhad Shahnia received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Queensland University of Technology (Australia). Since 2019, he has been an A/Professor at the School of Engineering and Energy, Murdoch University, Perth, Australia. Prior to that, he was a lecturer at Curtin University (Australia, 2012-2015), and a senior lecturer at Murdoch University (Australia, 2015-2019). He has published 7 books, 15 book chapters, and 150+ scholarly journal and conference articles in the areas of microgrids and integration of renewable energy systems to microgrids and electrical distribution networks. Josep M. Guerrero received the B.S. degree in telecommunications engineering, the M.S. degree in electronics engineering, and the Ph.D. degree in power electronics from the Technical University of Catalonia (Spain) in 1997, 2000, and 2003. Since 2011, he has been a full professor in the Department of Energy Technology, Aalborg University (Denmark). In 2015, he was elevated as an IEEE fellow for his contributions to distributed power systems and microgrids, and in 2019, he became a Villum investigator by the Villum Fonden, which supports the Center for Research on Microgrids at Aalborg University, where he is the centre founder and the director. He has authored 500+ journal articles about microgrids and renewable energy systems.
