Perovskite ABO3 materials have been extensively studied because of their technical importance and fundamental interest in physics for their phase phase transition behavior of the compounds and solid solutions.Physical properties of a material depend on the microstructure and, therefore, by controlling the microstructure, materialproperties can be tailored. Recent studies on doped barium titanate ceramics for their applications as capacitor, dielectrics, resistors, thermal sensors, etc., have been performed on the structural and phase transition behavior of the compounds and solid solutions, especially A site substitution. Most of them exhibit normal phase transition behavior or diffuse phase transition behavior. XRD, SEM and dielectric properties measurements were employed to illuminate intensively, the structure and phase transition behavior of different homo and hetero valent doping level. In this work a thorough and detailed study of the microstructure, quantitative analysis, morphology and dielectric study of modified Barium Titanate is carried out in lucid manner for the readers.
