in the present era,the Biomedical Healthcare sector is trying hard to replace the conventional diagnostic methods with the state-of-the-art approaches.until a few years back no easy, cost-effective and rapid techniques were available for the diagnosis of the composite bacteria present in the infected samples. This could sometimes take up to one month of time for the final diagnostic results.In this book,a novel approach has been introduced by using a fully integrated,portable and field-deployable apparatus. It can be used for the diagnosis of malicious bacteria present in the blood sample under test.The biomedical setup uses an integrated approach for the irradiation of the bacteria through the focused microwave energy.Using this novel approach, any infected blood sample placed inside the microwave cavity resonator will experience a highly controlled microwave energy which will force bacteria to expose their DNA information.Initially,we have used water samples filled inside the Eppendorf tube to testify the authenticity of the diagnostic setup. It has been practically shown that highly controlled microwave energy can be delivered inside the cavity resonator useful for diagnostics.
