¿tefan Cantaragiu graduated in 1988 from the electronic engineering faculty of the "Ferdinand I" Military Technical Academy. He received a PhD in engineering sciences, with the specialty of radio technique and communications in 1997. He is a corresponding member of the Academy of Romanian Scientists, Information Science and Technology section. He has coordinated and led numerous research programs and projects. He is the author of books, scientific articles, and innovations in the following fields: microwave circuits, antennas, radars, guiding systems, e-Defense, command-control systems, and communications.
