Autorenporträt
Lauren Emily Whalen writes fiction for teens and adults, including the novels Take Her Down, Two Winters, and Tomorrow and Tomorrow (co-written with Lillah Lawson). Her articles have appeared in Self, Bust, and Go  magazines. She is also the author of I Heart Jennifer Coolidge (Running Press, 2024) and Queer Eye: Find the Fab Five (Running Press, 2023), among others.   Dick Bruna was an award-winning graphic designer, artist, and illustrator who created Miffy in 1955. He published more than 120 children's picture books during his lifetime and was awarded the Max Velthuijs Prize in 2016, a lifetime achievement award for Dutch children's book illustrators. He passed away in 2017.
