Jeremy Durgana is a Canadian actor, musician, and author who infuses his passion for the arts into the classroom as a teacher. With a keen interest in writing, his first endeavours in the creative field involved crafting magazine synopses for sports and movies. As a computer science graduate, Jeremy entered the telecom sector with a central focus on hardware and software engineering. He later pivoted to the marketing side of telecommunications as a bilingual on-air broadcast coordinator for Bell Media. There, his responsibilities entailed managing live channels, websites, and magazines. He is a polyglot who speaks French, English, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese. Based in Toronto, Jeremy transitioned from the boardroom to the classroom, where he integrates relevant work experience into his English and French lessons. From developing storyboards to creative writing, filming, and post-production editing, students experience the magical storytelling process.During his time outside the classroom, Jeremy actively engages in filmmaking, where he continues to hone his craft of telling stories. His early works include a 2008 documentary about Kingston Penitentiary, where he and his brother, Jason Durgana, educate viewers about Canada's most notorious prison. Then there's their 2000 French film, L'Alliance, a precursor to acting and writing screenplays. Jeremy also enjoys conducting guerrilla-style interviews to give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at professional wrestling, mixed martial arts, and boxing.Over the years, Jeremy has been featured in various films and TV shows, such as The Handmaid's Tale, Chucky, and To Kill A Dictator.
