Approximately one-third of individuals with migraine experience an aura. A distinction is made between non-specific and specific treatments for the treatment of the attack. Non-specific treatments relieve headaches (symptoms of migraine). Specific treatments inhibit the vasodilatation that is supposed to be at the origin of the migraine.
