The present book, Migrant Rickshaw Pullers from Social Work Perspective: The Case of Delhi , is a soft attempt to paint a picture of the migrant rickshaw pullers and their socio-economic, living conditions in Delhi. The objective of the study is to examine the various socio-economic backgrounds, causes of migration of rickshaw pullers, living conditions and day to day problems and also coping mechanisms adopted by the rickshaw-pullers in dealing with various problems in Delhi. The book will consist of eight chapters.

Dr. Sanjoy Roy is PhD, M Phil, MSW with UGC-NET. He has four years of working experience in development sector and in research and eight years in teaching. He has worked with government institution like All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS). Dr. Roy is presently working as Associate Professor in the School of Social Work, IGNOU, New Delhi.
