Autorenporträt
Luuk de Ligt, Ph.D (1993), Free University of Amsterdam, is Professor of Ancient History at Leiden University. He is the author of Peasants, Citizens and Soldiers: Studies in the Demographic History of Roman Italy 225 BC-AD 100 (Cambridge 2012) and has published extensively on Roman economic history, Roman law and Roman demography. Laurens E. Tacoma, Ph.D. (2003), Leiden University, is Lecturer of Ancient History at that university. He is the author of Fragile Hierarchies: The Urban Elites of Third Century Egypt (Leiden 2006) and has published various articles on Roman economic history and Roman social history.
