First, the deployment of migrants in economic activities dominated by trade creates a liveliness in Kye-Ossi. In addition, the construction of stores, dwellings, schools, health facilities, mosques and community homes offers a new landscape to this space. In addition, the dynamism imparted to the natives and the intensification of economic activities complement the socio-spatial changes brought about by the migrants; hence the socio-economic development.

Abêt Mongbet tiene un Máster Profesional en Demografía y un Máster en Geografía. Su tesis en el laboratorio MIGRINTER se centra en la movilidad y la dinámica espacial. Paralelamente, trabaja en la BUCREP desde 2016 como demógrafo marco de la 4ª RGPH, tras dos años de servicio en el MINEPAT.
