In view of current events on migration, the lack of work on internal migration and the pejorative image of migrants, this study aims to show the contribution of migrants to socio-economic development in Kyé-Ossi. To do this, the author uses methods applied in the social sciences. It starts from a quantitative survey with interviews. Bivariate and regression analysis, as well as content analysis, were added to the direct observations dear to geographers. As a result of this methodology, the results testify to the plural contribution of migrants to the socio-spatial transformation of the border. First, the deployment of migrants in economic activities dominated by trade creates a liveliness in Kye-Ossi. In addition, the construction of stores, dwellings, schools, health facilities, mosques and community homes offers a new landscape to this space. In addition, the dynamism imparted to the natives and the intensification of economic activities complement the socio-spatial changes brought about by the migrants; hence the socio-economic development.
