Since 1970s, Middle East region dominated the foreign employment market of Sri Lanka. Dr. Sampath Dharmadasa is a Senior Lecturer attached to the Department of Export Agriculture in Uva Wellassa University-Sri Lanka. His major interest area of study is Migration. Ms. H.M.T.R.Herath is a graduate of the same university who is currently reading for MSc in Agricultural Economics in the University of Peradeniya-Sri Lanka.
