Miguel Ángel Cancel Vázquez (born June 29, 1968) is a former member of Menudo.A native of Chicago, Cancel joined Menudo in 1981, replacing Oscar Melendez. He became an instant hit among Menudo fans because of his charisma and vocal ability.Cancel was a member during the worldwide Menudo craze of the early 1980s. In the 1981 album Quiero Ser, Miguel sang a duet with Xavier Serbia in Menudo's "Rock en la TV". He also sang "Es Por Amor" and the heart-touching "Cuando Pasara", a song which talked both about parents who abandon their children and parents who die too young to see them grow.
