Autorenporträt
Miguel Rio Branco is a multidisciplinary Brazilian artist and photographer. He studied at the New York Institute of Photography and at Rio's Higher School of Industrial Design. He started working in painting and also collaborated in movie productions, specially as a cinematographer. Since the São Paulo Biennale in 1983, he started creating spatial installations which combined photography and music. He has published numerous books, among them Dulce Sudor Amargo, Nakta, Entre os Olhos, and Plaisir la douleur.
