Mike McNeill is an author, long-time recording artist, and a motivational youth speaker. But he has not lived an ordinary life. His life is one of difficulties, temptations and deep lessons learned the hard way. Mike is now on a journey along a new path, one filled with purpose and positivity in shaping the next generation. This book No Hard Feelings chronicles some of the darkest moments of Mike's life. He was a member of the rap group Wiseguys, while also dealing in drugs. His gang was one of Boston's most notorious. After years of helping to destroy his community with drugs and extreme violence, Mike rose to become one of the top drug dealers of the time. It soon became widely known that he had one foot in the music industry while the other foot was firmly planted in the dark and dangerous world of drugs and mayhem. However, nothing lasts forever and his actions led to his arrest. Mike was convicted and served time in several State penitentiaries. Jail could have made things worse for him, but fortunately, that didn't happen. Instead, Mike used this time to reflect on the changes that needed to be made in his life. He had time to think about how his years of living a double life led to his fall from grace and imprisonment. Eventually, Mike had a change of perspective, a new outlook that influenced his new way of life. Since the publication of this book, Mike has dedicated his time and some of its profits to improve his community. He now works alongside community activists and ex-politicians, as well as the administration of his school system. Mike also helps to develop programs to guide at-risk youth in the hope of keeping them from experiencing the horrors of his past.
