The military punctuated Nigeria politics in January 15, 1966 on the ground of corruption, nepotism and tribalism, party schisms, political instability and economic under-development of the people. Since January 15, 1966, the military had sojourned in Nigeria's political process for twenty nine years of the nation's fifty five year's history. After many years of military rule, the question now is, Have the various Military regimes serve as panacea to the problem of Nigeria?
