The aim of this publication is to demonstrate the progress in military pedagogy as it is evolving within the various national institutions for the education and training of officers and recruits. The Editors: Hubert Annen is head of Military Psychology and Military Pedagogy Studies at the Military Academy at ETH Zurich, and head of the Assessment Center for career officer candidates.
Wolfgang Royl is Professor (retired) at the University of the German Bundeswehr, Munich, and Dean for General Didactics at the Faculty of Education since 1976.
