Didactic conditions for formation of specialist's military and special competence, including professionally significant characteristics - components of activity and personal components - have been developed and substantiated. The following theoretical and practical novelty results of the research are presented: the goal-setting of training process from the competence approach point of view is substantiated; the education content is structured in accordance with the goals of formation of activity and personal components of military-special competence; the choice of adapted profession-oriented training technology with systematic periodization of training content elements, through description of activity of process subjects at different stages of military-special competence formation is substantiated; the methode of military-special competence is proposed. The results of the study can be taken as a basis for the development of training programmes for specialists with higher professional education, in a wide nomenclature list of professions, specialties and specializations.
