The Millennial Leader will be proficient at: Being a Facilitator: leaders need to be brokers of their followers' success, leveraging their own platform for the betterment of others. Being a Mentor: leaders need to teach what they know and systematically develop leaders under them to grow the overall leadership quotient. Being a Futurist: leaders need to keep up with the speed of change by having the tools and skills to see the future before it is the present. Being a Coach: leaders need to coach others to think, act, and make decisions rather than giving orders and pointing the way. The Millennial Leadership model is the answer to the growing leadership conundrum created by the new world being built. Currently, we feel the problem in subtle ways where we can't place our fingers on it. Dr. Brandon Pardekooper is the founder of Modern Inklings, focused on shaping leaders for the future. He has spent over twenty years studying leadership dynamics and the effectiveness of a powerful leader in shaping the world. During that time, he has trained hundreds of Millennials to be successful in their integration to the modern workplace, while inspiring them to reach for the possibilities discovered only in their imaginations to serve their global village. Along with his years of experience, Dr. Pardekooper is equipped with degrees in Biblical Studies, Organizational Leadership, and Strategic Leadership Foresight. He has served in several church ministry positions, has been a university professor, and been a director of a leadership development program for college students. He is grounded by his Biblical foundation while being compelled by his belief in the power of a committed community of people to shape the world. He has been married to his loving wife, Carissa, since 2007 and has three wonderful boys, Aiden, Isaiah, and Emerson who are happy to tackle him, hug him, and be his superhero sidekicks. As a family, the Pardekoopers love to travel, visit friends, and enjoy the opportunities that God presents to them.
