El autor nació y se crió en Ibadan, Nigeria. Obtuvo su licenciatura en Relaciones Internacionales en una escuela encomiable en Nigeria. En 2010, obtuvo su maestría en estudios europeos e internacionales en el Institut Europeen des Hautes Etudes Internationales, Niza. El programa constaba de tres períodos en Estambul, Niza y Berlín.
