Sara-Luise Newman is a writer and illustrator of children's books. She is also a teacher, singer, storyteller, artist and poet. Sara has taught art to children of every age and is the creator of Cottage in the Woods Preschool in Oakland which she ran for many years. Sara now happily works full time writing and illustrating children's books, creating her art and teaching periodic art classes for kids in her cottage studio in the woods.
