Yves Corbiere only became interested in shapeshifting superheroes as an adult. As a child she preferred horses. In the wake of her own long-term illness, Yves realized just how important a fantasy universe can be, and decided to bring one to life. Yves was born in Guilford, Connecticut. A graduate of Davidson College, she lives and writes in Fayetteville, West Virginia.
