Excerpt In Pursuit Of Happiness I have searched within. You have been gone for a while now. Where have you been? I have watched you give people happiness. Your smile battling other emotions. Happiness expressing empathy. Emotion understanding emotions to win. So I waited for you again. Last I remember you were in my childhood... Before I knew the truth. The world is forgiving but people are not. They are destroying it too. I have chased money. I have chased dreams. But I never chased you... I did not think I had to while chasing them. But I am wrong it seems. Maybe I should make myself happy for once. I have caught myself smiling... I have finally caught happiness again. How Love Grows The type of love varies by the reason they love you. It is different every season, but it does not mean that their words are not true. To love a person that does not have anything, a seed has to be planted together. The tree will bare fruit for everything. Are you confused that they only love what you do? Maybe that was the seed that was planted, and that was what you grew. You grew on them, and what grew from that is not the love you give and pursue. You picked a fruit from the tree above. I know you want it to be, but that is not your love. The Caterpillar With flowers to eat, Spring has brought you joy. Many to enjoy and many to destroy. Sting of gloom, with every bite bringing fears of doom. But new flowers will bloom as fast as you can consume. Spring showers loom as nature plays her role. Groom into a mysterious tomb until you reach your goal. The beauty of nature destroyed to create another. No need to compete. Spread your wings as the cycle repeat. The Wickedness Love How can love treat me as if I am not worthy? Without cautiousness, I give my all to feel its feeling. A safe temptation to indulge on without a guilty conscious. I live to die from it... I am left unconscious. But I am still denied as if I use it to much... I did not know something so good could be so bad. A good prescription. A good abuse. A good addiction.
