Physiologically, mindfulness improves blood flow, relaxes muscle tension in the body, and creates a feeling of wellness. It takes practice and has many components. That is why this journal breaks down mindfulness into seven elements, one to focus on for each day of the week. It's like putting a bandage on life's disappointments; thus, allowing healing time, and then feeling renewed. You can't smile and frown at the same time!
