James Langford III was born April 13th 1990, in Richmond Ca. Raised by both parents (James and Patrice Langford), both richmond natives as well. He attended Hercules High School C/O 2008 and was a four sport athlete. After graduation he attended San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton Ca, where he played football for two years. James performed well on the field and off earning him a full ride scholarship to the University of Tennessee Martin in 2010. James redshirted there for a year before transferring to Shaw University in 2011 in Raleigh Nc. He finished his college career at Shaw earning PreSeason All American for his outstanding ability as a return man. Langford finished college in Fall 2013 with honors, earning him another degree is Business Administration Management. He also joined Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated during his time at Shaw. After leaving Shaw, James was given an opportunity to play football overseas in Serbia. He then went on to play in Germany and also in Texas. Langford said "traveling the world inspired me to write, some people never leave their city or state, I just want to give people hope and something they can relate to". Langford plans on doing more projects in the future, working with music and also, starting a training program to help young athletes succeed in life. He plans on launching this program in 2018.
