In the recent years, there has been a significant demand for building materials in India as well as all over the world. Therefore, it is imperative to use mining and mineral wastes in the production of bricks, paving blocks and other value added products which are used in the construction industry. The possibility of making bricks by mixing iron ore waste fines from iron ore mines with other additives is introduced in this book. The effect of some of the constituents of iron ore waste on the compressive strength of bricks and predicting the compressive strength and water absorption of bricks for bricks made using different proportions of iron ore waste with different additives has been reported in this book. This book will be of immense help to iron ore mine owners, construction industry, academicians and researchers working in the domain of iron ore waste management and sustainable development.
