Autorenporträt
Dr. Carlos Sierra is a mining and geological engineer with an MSc in Civil Engineering, an MSc in Environmental Engineering, and a postgraduate education certificate. For the last ten years, he has taught mining engineering courses at the Universities of Oviedo and Cantabria in Spain and ESPOL in Ecuador. He is an Associate Professor of Mining Methods at the University of León in Spain. His research focuses on advanced techniques for characterizing materials and in mineral processing. Mr. Emilio Andrea is an Industrial Engineer who graduated from the University of Cantabria. He holds an advanced certification in Occupational Risk Prevention, specializing in Workplace Safety. From 2013 to 2016, he served as an adjunct professor at the University of Cantabria, where he taught Nuclear Technology. Since 2007, he has been with Equipos Nucleares, SA, working in the Procurement Department. He currently serves as the Head of the Materials, Subcontracts, and Supplies Unit.
