Dr. Mai is graduated in the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University in 2003. Then she had her PhD degree in 2011 with an excellent degree on the topic Coptic demands between inclusion and exclusion". She is now a Fulbright fellow at the University of California Los Angeles UCLA at the Center of Near Eastern Studies.
