Howard Good is coordinator of the journalism program at SUNY New Paltz and former president of the Highland (New York) school board. A frequent contributor to American School Board Journal, Education Week, and Teacher Magazine, he is the author of eleven previous books including Educated Guess: A School Board Member Reflects, The Theory of Oz: Rediscovering the Aims of Education, and Inside the Board Room: Reflections of a Former School Board Member all published by Rowman & Littlefield Education.
