Atenea Castillo Baizábal es originaria de Xalapa, Veracruz, y egresada de la Facultad de Artes Plásticas de la Universidad Veracruzana. Su trabajo ha sido influido por el arte sacro y mitológico, la pintura moderna y el cómic occidental. Actualmente forma parte del colectivo El Telón. Atenea dibujó desde pequeña y gracias al apoyo de sus padres pasó gran parte de su infancia en talleres de dibujo y pintura. Tras graduarse se encontró investigando sobre procesos psicológicos y su relación con la imagen pictórica. > Atenea Castillo Baizábal is originally from Xalapa, Veracruz, and graduated from the Faculty of Plastic Arts of the Veracruzana University. Her work has been influenced by sacred and mythological art, modern painting, and Western comics. She is currently part of the El Telón collective. Athena, she drew since she was little and thanks to the support of her parents, she spent much of her childhood in drawing and painting workshops. After graduating, she found herself researching psychological processes and her relationship with the pictorial image.
