Do cars have feelings? That is the essence of what author George Farrow explores in this charming, illustrated children's book about a little black model T named Miss Lizzy. Miss Lizzy spends decades devoted to one family, working their farm fields and transporting them around town, until suddenly, without explanation, she is put into storage. Lonely and confused, Miss Lizzy wonders what will become of her. Will she be dismantled and sold for parts? Will she forever lose the freedom to drive around? Will anyone ever love and care for her again? Miss Lizzy is a playful autobiography of a car, but it is also much more than that. It's a testament to generational love, and it is a reminder to readers to care for and cherish the people and things they hold dear-no matter how old they are. Everyone and everything matters!
