Nancy Nau Sullivan invented the life and times-and island-of Blanche Murninghan in her new mystery series, launched with SAVING TUNA STREET in 2020. The setting for the mystery is based on the real-life Anna Maria Island where Nancy cared for her elderly father while raising two young children. She wrote about that harrowing, real-life adventure in her award-winning memoir, The Last Cadillac. TROUBLE DOWN MEXICO WAY is the second book in the mystery series, and for the third installment, Blanche takes her amateur sleuthing skills to Southeast Asia for the third installment, MISSION IMPROBABLE: VIETNAM.A former newspaper journalist, Nancy taught English in Argentina, in the Peace Corps in Mexico, and at a boys' prison in Florida.
