This work looks at the question of evangelization and inculturation amid rapid social change in West Africa. It is articulated with conviction that the integration of faith and culture is the way to go in such context. Since this study is built on practical theology, the underlying method employed is praxis-theory-praxis. Florentine Mallya, C.S.Sp., is a religious of the Congregation of the Holy Ghost (Spiritans). He was for many years a missionary both in Guinea Conakry and Senegal, West Africa. He holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from the Catholic Theological Union at Chicago with specialization in cross-cultural studies.
